Jenkins is a distinguished speaker on photography and multimedia and has served as jury chair for World Press Photo's multimedia contest. photo of Grant EllisGrant Ellis, photo editor of Surfer Magazine discovered what would become his life-long passion for photography back in the early 1990s. originally from Amanzimtoti, South Africa, Ellis began surfing at eight years old and has never ventured far from the water since. After studying commercial photography in Durban, South Africa, Ellis began shooting for local South African surfing magazines. in 2001, he held two positions: one with Surfing Magazine and the other to cover the World Tour for swell.com. he has held the title of photo editor at Surfer Magazine for the past nine years.
